Une cousinade réussie dans ces gîtes chaleureux où nous nous sommes tous retrouvé dans la joie et la bonne humeur. Le site est parfaitement adapté à des retrouvailles familiales. Merci à Paula et Richard pour leur accueil.

Great time as a group renting three gites – this works so well.
Fun with everyone playing with all the games in the pool. Good days out at the lake. Great waffles at Base Nautique on the opposite side of the lake from the beach.
Bailey –
As ever Paula and Richard’s hospitality has been 2nd to none. This is our 3rd visit here and the gite and swimming pool were great. My family enjoyed the walks around the land and saying hi to goats and horses. We’ve also played croquet + boules + swingball.
Places of interest – St. Junien, St Claud and Base Nautique. The markets at St Junien and Piegut Pluviers are great.We were sad that Confolens was not as bustling as before but if you are here for their festival in August we have enjoyed that in previous visits.

We just want to say how very much the whole family enjoyed our stay at La Croix. We had looked forward to our French holiday for so long and it didn’t disappoint in any way.
The children were totally free to wander and play which led to much more relaxed parents. The pool was brilliant and the cottages were really well equipped and comfortable.
A holiday to remember and recommend thoroughly to other families and Grand Parents.

We have had a fantastic 2 weeks, started off with a warm welcome from Paula – the perfect hostess who couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our 2 weeks.
The garden, games areas and pool were totally fantastic and really well used by us and our 3 children. We will definitely be recommending La Croix to our friends back home. Thank you and hopefully we will be back.

I thought the lesson with Jocelyn was fantastic. It was so relaxing and therapeutic and it really inspired me to to carry on from home. She was a great teacher, giving me lots of advice and points on how to paint outside, what to look for and notice. It was a real highlight of my holiday! Thank you so much for organising it for me.

Great stay again. Lovely spacious gite. Good base for travel around the area. Pool and jacuzzi area fantastic. Nice outside space and barbecue. Quiet and relaxing.

A fantastic place for an extended family get-together. We have enjoyed 2 weeks of wonderful facilities to keep young and old amused.
We loved the wild flower pastures with its butterflies, the frogs in the pond and the lovely jacuzzi that made swimming in cloudy weather very enjoyable.
