Especially popular on your evening of arrival – Paula is happy to recommend nearby places to eat and to book you a table at a local restaurant.
Alternatively, you can order meals to collect from the Tapas bar/restaurant in the village, ‘Le Lys et Le Thistle’ (only 2km away) so that you can enjoy a meal in the comfort of your holiday cottage whilst unwinding from the journey and relaxing into your holiday. Bruno Achard, the restaurant owner and professional chef, can recommend options from his restaurant’s excellent seasonal menu or organise bespoke hot or cold dishes or buffets for you to collect for your family or holiday group.
To celebrate a special occasion or simply to provide for your daily catering needs during your stay at La Croix Gites – a local professional chef, Sam Armitage, is happy to be at your service (for groups of 8+ people).

Cakes delivered to your cottage
If you are celebrating anniversaries or birthdays while you are here, you can also order homemade cakes to be delivered to your cottage. The cakes are home-made and can be hand-crafted in your chosen traditional or novelty design. The cakes are such great value you needn’t wait for a special occasion!
